Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_field()

  • Issue: I noticed that our website stopped loading after a specific place in the page. After turning on define('WP_DEBUG', true); in wp-config.php, we noticed this error in the location of our category short codes:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_field() in /wp-content/plugins/category-shortcode-w-generator/category_shortcode.php on line 207

    Problem was fixed after enabling the Advanced Custom Fields plugin.
