Will I lose playlists?

The latest version of the JW5 WP plugin was 1.7.2.

If you upgrade to the JW6 plugin from the JW5 one, you can always revert to JW5 in the admin, so I don’t believe anything should be lost.

If you upgrade to the JW6 plugin, V2, you do always have the option in the admin to revert to the old JW5 plugin from there, so I don’t believe anything will be lost, but I would recommend updating to at least 1.7.2 prior to upgrading to JW6.

I thought that I might lose Playlists when I upgrade from 1.5.8 to 1.7.2?

I don’t think you should. In any case, I would do a backup just to be safe.

I tried updating to 1.7.2 but lost all playlists.

Any idea of how I can get this fixed up, or will I have to do this manually?

Did you make a back up? Not much changed from 1.5 > 1.7

Yes I did so I reverted back to 1.5.8.

I created all the Playlists using the Media button so I’m not sure what options I have to get the data into the new version.
