Problems with chemmacros

  • Hi, first of all, thank you for this great work.
    I’m a chemist and I’m trying to use Quick Latex with chemmacros. The problem is that it is not rendering reaction arrows nor bonds.
    I’ve already loaded chemmacros in my options, but, when I try, for example, this:
    [latex]\ch{2 H2O -> H3O^{+} + HO^{-}}[/latex]
    What I get is this
    Any advice on this problem?

    mhchem is working well, by the way…

    This is neither a problem with QuickLaTeX nor with chemmacros per se. chemmacros uses tikz, a fact which must be told to quicklatex:

    [latex][+preamble]\usepackage{chemmacros}[/preamble]
\begin{tikzpicture}\end{tikzpicture}
\ch{2 H2O -> H3O^{+} + HO^{-}}
[/latex]
