Only showing first and last promo/not advancing

It sounds like a javascript issue. Can I get a link to the page so I can see what is going on?

Your site is loading jQuery 1.4.4, which isn’t compatible with the Promotion Slider. I am going to assume you are running a recent version of WordPress, but if you aren’t updating is the solution. Most likely, one of your many plugins installed is loading an older version of jQuery. This is an extremely bad practice because it breaks other plugins. Please follow my troubleshooting guide to pinpoint the troublemaker and get rid of it.

I’m having the same type of problem. Only one slide will show up. It won’t auto advance and the user can’t advance it by clicking on the arrows. It just sticks to one slide. However when it is first loading it quickly shows a different slide. https://www.HalseySchools.com

I’ve been using it for over a year with out any issues until now. It’s a great plugin! I hope the fix is something simple.

Yep – I’m having the same issue as RR above. Issue started just the other day. Was there an update to the plugin?

It looks like your site has the same problem as @figliuolo… a bunch of JavaScript errors. If you open up your site in Chrome, right click and select ‘Inspect Element’, it will bring up the developer tools. Click on the ‘Console’ tab and you should be able to see all the JavaScript errors.

It appears as though your site has an issue with PIE.js. My recommendation is the same: follow the steps in my plugin troubleshooting guide to determine where the problem lies. It is very likely that another plugin could be the cause of the conflict, or your theme could be doing something it shouldn’t. By following that guide, you will at least have an idea of where to look.

Thanks for your help. I couldn’t get it to work. I eliminated pie.js, etc. and nothing made a difference. But I found another slider plug-in that works.

@rrkingcool can you let me know the plug-in’s name? I need something short-term while I try to fix promo slider. Thanks!

I’m just using the lite version but there you can also purchase a full version. Lite works fine for me.
