Moving 'Published Date' in blankslate theme

  • Hi. I’m running the blankslate theme. I got stuck trying to move the published date from just below the blog post heading to just next to the heading.

    I searched all the theme files for ‘date’ and the only file where I found this date function code was in entry-meta.php. (Same file where I deleted ‘By Admin’). I tried cut n pasting the code few lines upward, but no surprise, it didn’t work.

    I’m wondering if maybe it should be edited from stylesheet? Thanks in advance.

  • SpectreV, did you ever figure out how to do this?

    I’m trying to create a standard page template and can’t figure out how to remove it since it’s not included in the index.php
