No sidebar and excerpt 2012

  • Hi All

    This is driving me mad and I cannot seem to find the problem.

    I have a child theme of the 2012 theme on the above site. But it doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. In the category News (on the menu bar) it isn’t showing a sidebar and full content instead of excerpts.
    Also when you go to a page it doesn’t show the sidebar either.

    Any ideas please?

    Further to this post. I have deactivated all plugins and that has not changed anything. I also deactivated 2012 theme and activated a different theme and got a sidebar showing. So I then did a live preview of the child theme I am using and it shows the theme with sidebar active. But when I activated the theme the sidebar disappears.

    Help please?
