resize problem

I am using the plugin to preview regular wordpress posts. However, since I am also showing a single image in each post, every now and then the image will load after the lightbox has become visible. This will cause the lightbox window to size only to the height of the post text, and once the image loads up fully the lightbox remains the same insufficient height, cutting half of the content. It happens often and it is a problem. Can anybody give me any idea how to fix this?
