No Check Box in Comment Moderation Screen?

    Until this week, when I wanted to moderate comments, there was a checkbox next to “Author” at the top of the screen and boxes next to each comment. This made it easy to remove a number of spams at one time. Now the boxes are missing and I need to select each comment individually. Help!

    Are you browsing with Javascript off?
    Try
    – loading the page in other browsers
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    Thank you! I will give your list a whirl. I did just update some plugins as well as upgrading to the new version of WordPress.

    I wanted to thank you for your advice. By opening the page in Internet Explorer, the issue in Chrome was resolved.
