Random character showing on front and in dashboard

i just moved a multisite from one server to another and repointed the DNS. Everything has propagated, but now there is a random letter “e” showing in the upper left corner of every page on the front end and in the admin panel.

It’s not in index.php and it’s not in a theme file since it shows up in the dashboard, too. Where else should I be looking?

If you look in the source code it shows up under the opening body tag. It’s not noticeable on the front end because it blends in with the background image.
