I recently installed the PayPal Responder Plug-in, and its amazing. Thank you for such a creation! I do have one problem. In the settings I am trying to place in my own PayPal Button to say “Donate”. But when I try to put that image in or upload, there appears to be no option or button to go retrieve the file from my computer. Therefore, I am being forced to use the “Buy Now” button. It shows the Upload Image now button, and the box to have a file in. Am I suppose to put in an URL or something?

Hi adbalentine, glad you like the plugin. ??

On the Settings Screen you should have a field labeled ‘Buy Button Image’. You can enter a file path to your image, OR you can click ‘upload’ next to that field to upload an image from your PC into your Media Library and use that. Make sure you’re pressing ‘Save Changes’ button to save the new image….

    Does that work for you?

Hi Maeve, thank you so much.

I tried all that but it isn’t working. When I click the Upload Button nothing opens. Its like the button is a dud. How do you manually create a path to an image on your desk top?

Try uploading the file directly to your media library, then copy the file URL (to the right when you have it selected in media library) and paste that URL into the field then save…

Hmm, tried that just now and still didn’t work. Saved it, nothing there when I visit the page with the buttons. Tried to push the upload button again with the URL.. nothing happens what-so-ever. I guess this is just something I will have to accept the “Buy Now” content in the button. At least the default shows. Just wish I could work it with “donate” as that seems more soft and inviting than buy when doing a fund raiser. Thanks though for all your follow up. I appreciate it very much.
