latest update display sidebar in front page

    Hi,

    I chose this theme for my startup site because it had a pretty decent front page. After I updated to the latest theme update, it now displays the side bar at the front page which to make things worse, does not even show on the side but at the bottom of the front page’s contents. I’ve tried to get rid of it through settings and appearances menu and even this:

    <?php if (!is_front_page()) {
get_sidebar();
} ?>

    but to no avail.

    This was added due to the Theme Reviewers Requirement as that should be implemented due to match with WordPress Core Features.

    You can disable the Front Page Posts/Page and Sidebar from the Simplify Options. Thus your site will look like the previous Simplify Version. Please see This Image.

    Find the option in the bottom of Theme Options.
