Adding a Counter to the Print Button

Hi, I absolutely love this plugin, so I’d rather not have to go galevanting off and find another one.

Is there a way to incorporate a “counter” for each time someone prints something from my page using the “Print Me” icon?

Please let me know a.s.a.p. for this is a dire need for my client.
