Will no Download New Definitions

    When I try to download new definitions it just redirects me to the homepage of my site. The program is also not detecting some malware because it says my site is 100% clean but it is not. I keep getting anti-virus popups for my computer and I have found some files on my wordpress that are infected. I can’t get them all off. I will be more than happy to donate if you can help me here. I can even provide login details if you need them.

    My plugin will not be able to detect and remove malware without the updated definitions.

    The update/redirect symptom you describe exactly matches the effect of the wordpress firewall plugin. If I am right that you are also using that firewall plugin then please disable it temporarily, then perform the update, then re-enable it again.

    If that solves the update issue then you can also just add YOUR IP address to the whitelist on the firewall settings page.
