• Hello,

I went to a couple of friend’s WordPress sites to follow their links to my site (to make sure they linked properly). While their URL’s to my WordPress are correct, the links lead to https://hume.multipattern.com and I have no idea why. I haven’t checked this from another connection, so maybe it’s something on my ISP’s side. I am using WordPress through their website, so I don’t have the WordPress software working with my own domain name. My site is https://thelastday.wordpress.net

Any feedback to this issue would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Hank

  • Both links in this post lead to the first address. Need some traffic perhaps?

    Very interesting stuff…

Both those URL’s resolve to 67.18.223.74. Additionally doing WHOIS queries on both those URL’s leads to the Matt’s domains.

    https://www.whois.sc/multipattern.com
    https://www.whois.sc/wordpress.net

And seeing as the OP registered within the past hour, very likely a spammer.

If you’re referring to me, I registered in the past hour in order to post my question. I am not a spammer and this is the first time that I have experienced a problem with WordPress.

Anyways, thanks for the quick replies.

Is there an email address that I can use to contact the site admins directly? This is very annoying and I would like to avoid switching to another blogging site if possible. It’s odd because I can go in and edit all of my features, post new topics, and preview my site from the Dashboard, but when I input the URL directly I get that worthless multipattern site

    Thanks again,
    Hank

Nevermind, I think I’ve resolved the issue.

The link should be https://thelastday.wordpress.COM and not .NET

What is your real domain? WordPress.net is owned by Matt and essentially redirects to www.remarpro.com.

    Regards

thelastday, well for future help issues, they have a forum here: https://wordpress.com/forums/ =)
