    I just noticed that changing the text type to anything but paragraph fixes this… kinda

    It’s possible the default font doesn’t support some Arabic text characters. You can try removing it from the font stack and using something more likely to support multiple character sets. So, anywhere in style.css that uses the font-family property, copy that selector into your child theme or Custom CSS plugin and set it to a more generic font, like Arial or Times New Roman.
