Password Protect A Single Page

    Slightly weirded out how this topic’s appeared many times in the forums, but I’ve yet to see a single response that directs help towards the “already there, in the WordPress Page’s Publish” area.

    Does anyone know Why this seems so impossible?? I’m trying to password protect one page. Asked a friend to test the site page for me; he still has access.

    Followed the simple steps:
    Publish >> Visibility: Password protected [There is a password in there]

    Cleared browser Cookies, all history cleared, friend tested, I’ve tested, made up a song and dance about testing — Does anyone know how to help this to work?

    And why doesn’t this work? Am I doing something wrong??
