Excluded post types from menu: now what?

Dear all,

I would like to exclude the created post types from the menu.
There is a handy setting to do this in Types.

Now, how can I acces these post types easily?
Is there a plugin that allows for quickly selecting any post type?
Do I simply have to bookmark the edit.php?post_type=photo url?
Is there a more elegant solution available?
