I established a second site using the multi-site function. When I click “Sites” I see 2 sites as follows:

    San Francisco Bay Area

    Visit | Dashboard

    Ken Lee Homes

    Visit | Dashboard

When I click dashboard for the first site (primary domain), it works as it always has. When I click dashboard for the 2nd site (subdomain Ken Lee Homes) I get a hostgator Error 404 as shown here: https://kenleehomes.managingcleantech.com/wp-admin/

Here are my subdomains per hostgator cPanel:
*.managingcleantech.com /public_html not redirected Manage Redirection Remove
    kenleehomes.managingcleantech.com /public_html/KenL
eeHomes.com not redirected Manage Redirection Remove

Currently KenLeeHomes.com is not hosted on WordPress and I have 1 week to transfer it over, which I will do laer by managing the nameservers. For now, I just want to start rebuilding the site in wordpress.

Hostgator initially told me to wait 4-8 hours but nothing changed. Then they suggested this issue is better resolved at this forum.

    Thanks for any insights!

In cPanel File manager I noticed only one instance of wp-admin. Does this have anything to do with my problem of not accessing the 2nd dashboard?

No. WordPress has only one install of the files. Don’t worry about THAT.

https://kenleehomes.managingcleantech.com/ tells me exactly what’s wrong. You set up subdomains wrong.

*.managingcleantech.com	/public_html not redirected	Manage Redirection	Remove
    kenleehomes.managingcleantech.com	/public_html/KenL

    You should have this:
    kenleehomes.managingcleantech.com /public_html/

Thanks it worked! I removed everything after public_html so the subdomain became as you suggested. Thanks for the fix, as well as all your contributions in the threads I researched prior to getting to this point.

    Have a great one!
