Image not displaying

    I am trying to get an image to show in one of the cells. I’ve followed the instructions and have inserted the url of the image, but it’s only displaying the url, not the actual image.

    I’ve disabled the plugins nextgen gallery and ckeditor but that hasn’t helped.

    Do you have any other suggestions? Wonder if it could be a problem with the theme.

    (I didn’t have this issue with the old plugin wp table reloaded on a different website.) Thanks very much for your help.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This is happening because you just inserted the URL as text, which is not enough. To insert images, HTML code (which includes that URL) is necessary. You can either type that HTML code in manually, or use the “Insert Image” button below the table. That will open the WordPress Media Library. You can then select the desired image from the media library and have the necessary HTML code inserted into the cell for you.

    Hi,

    It’s working now! What I had to do was this: once in the media library, show the image, ctrl a to select the file url, once selected, then click insert into post.

    This inserts the html which does the trick!

    (Just selecting insert into post does not work by itself. You must select the url first, then insert into post)

    It’s strange that you had to select that URL first though… Not sure why that is suddenly necessary…
