saving posts before updating WP/converting to multiuser

  • is there a way to save old posts and comments? and is switching to multiuser WP considered an upgrade or a completely different installation?

    anyone with advice on how to do it?

    WP-MU is considered a seperate product as far as we go. So if you were to ‘upgrade’ to it, you would have to import your current WP post/comments into it. A direct injection would likely not work as the databases MIGHT or MIGHT NOT match up.
