"upload logo" window not opening?

  • So when I click the button “upload logo”, the Upload Media window is not popping up at all? The screen gets a dark shade like it’s about to, but then nothing. Also, my drop down menus are shortened all of a sudden in the “General Settings” menus (General, Bakcground, Header, Footer, Post Settings, Project Settings, & Advanced)? Then if I upload something through the Media Library the settings & options for inserting the post have changed!? What happened here? How do I fix this?

  • Start rolling back your most recently-installed plugins and test to see if there’s a conflict.

    Clear your web browser’s cache; use Ccleaner or something. If you’re using Firefox, just go to options >> advanced >> cached web content >> clear now. Close your browsers and restart.

    Where is the “upload logo”? You mean in your theme’s options?

    The “Upload Logo” button is found by clicking “Duotive” on the side bar, then under the General Settings clicking “Footer”.

    How can I tell when each plugin was installed? Or is there a way to see which one could be causing it my looking at code somewhere?

    oh … some Theme Forest theme …

    I’m just trying to figure out when and what created this behavior, so you can roll back whatever you did. How many plugins do you have?

    You can always deactivate them, one by one, if you don’t know which one you added last. Eventually you’ll find the culprit and you can go from there … perhaps adjust the settings, or use a different plugin than the one causing the conflict.
