No stars, just text that is messing up the format

    I’m sorry for being a broken record. I keep trying to fix the star problem on my website, but every couple days or so I keep coming back and posting in support to see if anyone has any advice. If I can’t fix this I’m going to have to go buy a premium photo battle plugin or something so I figured I’d give it a couple more tries. Shaun’s given me a few things to try (deactivate other plugins or swap the theme), but I haven’t gotten any results from deactivating and since it is a buddypress site I don’t want to play with themes too much. That seems to mess with the site in my past experience.

    If anyone has found solutions to anything like this or if anyone is willing to look at my page and help me find some answers I’d appreciate it a lot. Will even send you some stickers from our site ??

    As I said in the previous thread you were posting in, there must be something specific on your site that is creating a conflict, and stopping the CSS and Javascript loading. I have lots of test installs, and tens of thousands of users running without this issue.

    Your best bet would be to copy your site to a test location, and try switch the theme then.

    everytime i add the tag <?php echo nggv_imageVoteForm($image->pid);?> or enable the gallery voting, i just see 1 2 3 4 5 vertically in each photo!

    Just for anyone who stumbles across this thread with same problem, it seems there is a conflict with the ‘Facebook Simple Connect’ plugin.
    I haven’t figured out exactly what the conflict is, but if it’s enabled the CSS and JS for the voting plugin doesn’t load properly.

    I will update this thread when I have more specific answers

    Hi there, i have the same issue.
    1 2 3 4 5 displayed vertically.

    when I disable NextGEN Facebook Open Graph plugin, then it works.

    Thanks for the feedback. I managed to narrow down what the other plugins are doing that creates the problem, but I just don’t understand why it actually creates the problem.

    I have made a change to the voting plugin ‘s development version, that changes the way it works, that gets around the problem. Download the development version from here.

    The next release version will include this change.

    You have a great website there by the way. But where (and how) have you implemented the voting plugin?

    Also which gallery plugin and skin have you used for those images? Looks nice and clean!

    hey there, no worries problem was fixed, all good, but I just ended up removing the voting plugin.
    For the images I just use the embedded ngg gallery. I think its just the wordpress theme and the settings of ngg that looks like that. Message me if u need any help here or at [ redacted, support is offered via the forums and not email ]
