[Plugin: WooCommerce – excelling eCommerce] add category drop-down nave to menu

  • Using Woocommerce 1.6.6

    I’m customising the Mystile theme for a client of mine. I would like to add a drop-down of product categories to the main navigation menu, as the demo theme has.

    I did think it might be autogenerated, but 4 product categories have been added, but nothing has appeared there.

    Is there an option I’m missing here?

    I’m currently using a wooCommerce theme in one of my WordPress sites, to solve the issue, you firstly need to go into the screen options on the menu page, and tick the product categories box, this will let you add the product categories.

    To solve your issue about adding drop downs you need to add a new menu to your site, and then add your products/ product categories, selecting them in the product categories options on the left of the screen. Once you have selected them you will then need to click add to menu and they will be added to what ever menu you are viewing on the screen.
