gaps between posts in twenty twelve

  • Hi, I am using twenty twelve for my site. I have problems eliminating gaps between posts. Please have a look at fiorita.cz/novinky/ and see the problem.
    I also would like to eliminate space above the header and make the navigation menu narrower.
    I do not have much experience with CSS and now edit the appearance of my site on trial-and-mistake basis mostly, so any help and advice is much appreciated

    What CSS have you tried?
    Where did you make your CSS changes?

    I made the changes through the in-built editor. I tried to play with margin-top (thus I made the gap between the header and the navigation smaller) and paddings. I am sorry I never wrote down the changes I made
