• So, I’m doing my first site move from GoDaddy to cPanel (I’ve done numerous cPanel to cPanel, or GD or even MediaTemple and have had no issues…), and this GoDaddy to cPanel move has killed the CSS of the site I’m moving. A site that offers web design and SEO services, so this kinda looks bad.

I’ve gone through all of the steps that I normally do when moving the site from cPanel, even remembering to make sure that I note that the database location is now ‘localhost’ in the wp-config.php file that I noticed GoDaddy changes. None of that works. I’ve gone through phpMyAdmin to double check and even change URLs, even though the URL remains the same as the domain is transferring as well. This was all done on Thursday night and I originally thought it could be the losing registrar holding the URL from looking at stuff on its new ip address… but server adminning isn’t really my thing. I figured I’d see if anybody can come up with something for me to check that could get my CSS and back end working again?
