• I am in the process of designing a mobile version of my website (mobile.mysite.com) as a subdomain. How do I go about transferring my existing blog to the mobile site? For example, I have 100 posts on the original site. Is there a way to have the feed for these posts go to both the desktop and mobile versions or do I need to repost each blog entry? How do most blog sites handle this when they have 2 separate mobile/desktop themes?

The current trend is to use a Responsive Theme. A Responsive Theme will ‘read’ the user-agent and media screen size of the current site user so it can deliver site content best.

Other options include plugins such as WPtouch…or scripted rewrite methods (if is x screen size and is web-kit, use web-kit-small.css and this rewrite rule)

I am sure there are many other methods.

I guess I will have to try the scripted rewrite method. Is there a tutorial on that? To be clear: I want to have a separate mobile site, and not a responsive theme. I just noticed that some sites like Slate, have the same blog posts and comments across platforms (on their mobile and desktop sites).
