Inserting Image Slider to Homepage

I am using the Soliloquy plugin and I have created my slider.
My problem is that I want the slider to be displayed on the homepage, below the navigation menu and above the content. If I add the shortcode into the ‘header.php’ in the place where I want it to be displayed it looks fine HOWEVER, it is displayed in that place on all of my pages. I just want it on the homepage. How do I do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
