  • Sadly that stopped working a few months ago.

Desperately need a plugin like that for a company webpage ??

They may fix it, until then just crop the image before uploading.

If you don’t have Paint, or Photoshop, I know there’s online equivalents that are free and will let you edit pictures.

Sorry I dunno what they are called or have urls, try Google.

    Good luck.

I was more concerned on how the thumbnail looks rather then anything else, as seems strange for people to see pair of legs when i can edit it to see a face.

@kevuk79 – Could you let us know what version of NextGEN you’re running? Also, please confirm the WordPress version.

    A few things to try:
    – Deactivate all plugins (temporarily) and then re-activate NextGEN Gallery v1.9.12 (if you are not up to date with NextGEN, please upgrade before deactivating, and then reactivate afterwards).

Clear your browser cache and reload, let us know if that helps.

We have a Beta soon to release, v2.0, that should correct this issue for you. It’s working for us in v1.9.12, not sure why it may not be working for you in your server environment. Hopefully v2.0 will resolve those oddities for you.

Hi just disabled plugins and it seemed to work, so I guess I have a faulty plugin somewhere, bit of a bugger as some of the plugins I have are vital for the company.

Seems the Redirect to homepage plugin is the faulty one

@kevuk79 – That is good news, that you found the cause of this error! The vast majority of the time – errors are caused by another plugin. Especially if things were working fine, and then stopped working.

There is another redirect plugin you might try, it’s called ‘Redirection’ By John Godley . I use the plugin on several of my sites and it has served me well.

    Hope that helps! ??

Thanks will bear that plug-in in mind, I mainly wanted one so after I logged out of my blog it always went back to the main page instead of the login page, but I’m happy I found a better and most of all working plugin to solve my problems, by the way for some reason when I add pictures to the gallery they are being listed back to 1970.

@kevuk79 – Yes, we are aware of that bug for the image date. This will be fixed in our next upgrade. We have a Beta that we are getting ready to release within the next few weeks that will include that fix.
