    I understand that Testimonials is a special type of post. I was wondering if it is possible to change the following two text strings in my breadcrumbs:

    can i change “Archives for Testimonials” to “Contractors & Dealers” in the breadcrumbs for the all case.
    Current: Home >> Archives for Testimonials
    Desired: Home >> Contractors & Dealers

    can i change the “Testimonials” to “Contractors & Dealers” in the breadcrumbs in the individual case?
    Current: Home >> Testimonials >> individual testimonial
    Desired: Home >> Contractors & Dealers >> individual testimonial

    What breadcrumb code are you using?

    I’d suspect that you’d need to change the term “Testimonials” in general to override. However that’s overkill.

    I use the Catalyst theme and its Dynamik child theme.

    Catalyst allows certain breadcrumb configurations – see this screen shot. No override for “category”.

    The following seems inconsistent to me???

    For Blog posts the breadcrumbs display the “category” for the blog (screen shot here).

    For Testimonials the breadcrumbs display the word “Testimonial” always, regardless of the category (screen shot here).

    Update – One other thing – when i click on the Title in the widget, could the title be carried over to the breadcrumbs instead of saying “Testimonials” (screen shot here).

    @signcarver,

    At this point, easiest thing to do is to override the localization to be what you want.

    See FAQ 31.
