    Hi,

I’m working on this site for a friend:
    https://www.chetdelcampo.com/

We would like to add a blog that would go in the center of the lower frame and run below the graphic image.

    I’ve installed wordpress:
    https://www.chetdelcampo.com/blog/

I’m semi good at html, xml, css, a little php etc. but I’m COMPLETELY new to blogs and having a tough time trying to figure out how to do this or if it is even POSSIBLE? …to creat a completely custom look to wordpress.

Can’t really find anything in the support area that really deals with this. Anyone know???

Another option I thought was to stick with a wordpress template, strip it down completely and throw it into the page via a frame or iframe. Good idea?

If you live in NYC and can help let me know I could probably squeeze some money out of my friend for some lessons on how to do this.

    Thanks!

  • WordPress is completely customizable. Take a look at the Codex section Blog Design and Layout for the documentation.

Best advice I can give you would be to search for a theme that’s relatively close to what you want to do, and then customize it. It’s a good way to jump in and learn WP. (Search for WordPress themes on Google, or browse through https://webdesignbook.net/themes/)

You can do the iframe bit, but I’ve never tried to do it. I know it’s possible, but I see a lot of people having problems with it too. ??
