Question on setting up hostgator/wordpress

  • Hello,
    I just setup hostgator (with a domain from godaddy that’s setup and pointing at hostgator properly)

    I’m wondering what things I need to keep in mind to keep my account ‘secure’, the basic things… is all I need to do make sure to come up w/ long names for my mysql databases? and not make the default username “root”?
