This doesn’t mean the plugin is not compatible with buddy press (since buddypress is installed over wordpress).

What it does mean is that buddypress is not supported yet, hence it might work or it might not under your requirements.

I am curious. How are you intending to use it? What is the use case?
If for your deployment you can create static pages or include widgets you shouldn’t have any problem. Have you tried it?

Just to let you know. I finally give me a time last night and I teached myself the basics about BuddyPress. It is actually pretty net!

But anyways. I can confirm that you can have in a BuddyPress site the same BigBlueButton functionality you have on a basic WordPress deployment.

This means that the BigBlueButton plugin can be used safely on a BuddyPress site. Even though right now we don’t have plans for extending functionality or for adding features that could help to make it suit better.

So what would be the best way to set this up with multiple teachers holding classes. Please let me describe to you what we are trying to do:

We are set up on multi-site and running buddypress as well. Our teachers are given a higher member level then the base “subscriber” and this allows them to create “sites” and we may restrict group creation them as well but not sure. Anyway, we want these teachers to be able to schedule and manage their own live classes. What would be the easiest or best way to accomplish this for them and us?

Is there a way to restrict how many students a teacher can have in a class? Is there way to record these classes and allow others to watch them later? Can the BBB only be set up on a “site” or can there be multiple logins for different teachers and classes on the main site?
