I’m very sorry for the duplication. I had not seen this dedicated forum before.

I am totally at a loss and about to give up… from the link you sent me it seems that I need Template Tags. For that it seems that I need a php file, and if I understand that how do I get, say the picture and text below the Pyramids as in the picture in this link?

I’m sorry but it all seems rather complicated…

Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve when you are brand new to WP – but keep at it and you’ll figure it out :).

I think you just need to create a post – put the image and text you want in the post you create. WordPress already has everything you need (tags, php files). Perhaps this will help:

This page has a lot of other helpful “how to” info:

You could also search YouTube videos for WordPress help – there are lots of good tutorials on there.

    Thanks WPyuogi

I managed something rather unprofessional, mostly because what I write in the post does not reflect what comes out on the web…

What I would like to do now 8and it will be all for today…) is to get rid of the

    “”Edit

which was ledt behind and is now between the top picture and what I added now.

How can I get rid of this, please?

    Thanks

    Hi

I think I found where I can delete it but do not dare touch the edit without some help.

Adventure Journal has a single.php with a line

    <div class=”meta”>Posted by <?php the_author_posts_link(); ?> on <?php the_date();?></div>

what could I do to this line to get rid of the “posted on ” “date”?

    Thank you

    qim
