On my page https://www.missionaryhealth.net/wonbyonetojamaica/ we have a quoting tool from one of the insurance companies that we sell with. This quoting tool was embedded using an iframe.

(Just so you all know, i was just hired as the director of internet marketing and then they decided to make me the webmaster with no experience. I’ve had to learn everything about wordpress on my own. WORDPRESS BEGINNER).

When you are using anything except internet explorer as your web browser, when you click on this link, when the page loads it directs you to the source of the quoting tool that we have embedded.

If you are using internet explorer as your browser, you aren’t directed to another site and you stay on ours. We need our clients to stay on our website (https://www.missionaryhealth.net/wonbyonetojamaica) because there is specific information and instructions at the top.

If this makes sense to anyone, please let me know what i can do to fix this. I really need help because my company isn’t very willing to hire someone to help.

I would think the quoting tool is doing that. It may be written in such a way that it doesn’t allow you to embed it with an iframe. Have you asked the company you got the page from?

Yes and they know that we use it. I contacted them again and their webmaster said this:

“Our Quoting System unfortunately malfunctions when working within an iFrame if the end user is using Safari or Chrome. To help prevent this malfunction from occurring, our website has been updated to break out of the iFrame when it determines that those browsers are being used. We are in the process of trying to find a better long-term solution to Safari based browsers, but for now I’m that my only other suggestion is to not use an iFrame to prevent this from occurring.”

Is there anything i can do to get around this?

nope. since they have the “breaking out of the iframe” thing. Go to a different source for quotes or ask the them if they can do something else like a sidebar widget option for you.
