Looking for a different spin on private pages

Hi,

I’m looking for a plugin or other method to allow my clients to access pictures and videos from events I did for them (I’m a DJ). One simple method is to create a unique private page for each event and direct my clients to that URL with the password needed to see the page. That is not my preferred method, however.

What I’d really like to do is have a page on my website that dynamically loads a gallery of images and videos for a client by having them type an “Access Code” into a text field on that page. For example, the page might be titled “Your Event” and when accessed, would prompt the user to enter the “Access Code” I provided them. Upon entering that code, pictures and videos from their event would populate the page.

I don’t anticipate having any trouble categorizing/tagging the images and videos for each event, and having the correct media appear based on the access code’s association with those unique categories/tags. But I have not yet found a method to dynamically render that content on a single page. It would not bother me if the URL changed when the Access Code was entered, as long as my clients can access their unique content from a single root domain (i.e. mywebsite.com/your-event >> leads to >> mywebsite.com/2013/01/31/gallery)
