Static homepage Latest blog summary

    Hello

    I love this theme but i would like to make the homepage a static page but with the latest post summary at the bottom. How can i do this? I have some PHP experiance, but am new to WordPress. Can someone please help?

    I was thinking about changeing some of the code in home.php.. but im a bit unsure… it doesnt need to be perfect code, just work ??
