Updating query

    Hi

    I am running wordpress on freebsd 8.2 on two virtual hosts

    The original wordpress code was installed using freebsd ports system into a default directory and the code copied to the path for site 1.

    For various reasons I had to block access to site 1.

    Subsequently Site 2 was established but by this time php and other codes had been updated plus some updates had occured with some wordpress. Now I tried to reliven Site 1 but access to it fails with:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_start() in /usr/local/www/seniorearners_org/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-notices.php on line 11
    and the site does not load.

    What is the best way to bring this site up to date OR
    Should I add another wordpress site and then bring the data from Site 1 into it?

    In either case how?

    OK Solved the problem. Managed to move the site to a new directory, copied wp-config.php and got in.

    Gotsome images to copy over but otherwise it works.
