USA Today-like nvaigation buttons

I would love to see a plugin that creates 2 navigation buttons on side of screen (one on left and one on right) which allows user to horizontally navigate from one page to another quickly. This would mimic an iPad app in that when you navigate between different posts/pages, the whole actual page slides left and right in the same way that you would swipe a mobile app.

Would be great if plugin picked up all post, certain posts, or if urls could be entered. Would make experience much nice for user. See USA Today for example.

If such a plugin exists, suggestions for finding it would be great.I have searched for quite a while and found nothing.
