Extremely slow if you have lot of tags

    Hello,

    The plugin is making edit post loading extremely slow if the site has lot of tags. If i understand correctly, all the tags are queried and populated in one combo box, so if there are lot of tags, the page load time for edit post page goes down to even minutes.

    This issue should be addressed to make the plugin more practical. I would suggest removing the combo box altogether and provide a search tag button(alongwith a textbox) which would query the database for tags ‘like…’. This would save a lot of bandwidth and page load time.

    I really like the plugin, it does what i need it to do, but the page load time is not letting it be practical.

    This is a good point – I’ll take this into consideration for the next version of the plugin to see if I can’t do something to improve its performance.
