    I have worked on adding a Facebook Like/Share button option in the past for both the Fancybox and ColorBox lightboxes, however, while it’s easy to insert the button itself, it doesn’t behave desirably…

    For example…when the button is clicked, the image that’s displayed on a user’s Facebook Wall/Timeline turns out as a randomly selected thumbnail from your gallery page…not the specific image displayed in the lightbox. Additionally, the link from Facebook takes your visitors to the gallery page of the specific image (not the image itself), and the link title and description on Facebook is scraped from the gallery page, not the image’s anchor attributes (which is quite confusing).

    I’d like to add this feature in a future release, but as it stands, it would be better to simply integrate a like button above/below your gallery thumbnails, especially in regards to load speed (in the lightbox the button has to reload on every image).
