Automatically linking unlinked images to the post they appear in

  • I have a small feature request that I think would enhance this plugin. When I insert images into a post, I’d generally like the image linked to the permalink of the post containing it, so that users who click on the image in my MailPress newsletter or RSS feed get sent to the post. This option isn’t available when inserting an image; you can fake it by choosing “Link To: Custom URL” and guessing what the permalink will be, but that’s clumsy.

    Would it be possible to get this plugin to hyperlink all images which aren’t already linked, to the permalink of the post containing it?
