Homepage Layout question

    Hey Alex.

    I was wondering if it’s possible to choose a specific post type to display fully, and others to use excerpts.

    When I upload a video, it’s usually just the video, and so displaying it with “full content” will allow visitors to play it right from the main page of the website.

    When I write a post, I’d like to have a small thumb and an excerpt only, so to read more visitors will have to go in the article.

    At the moment it’s not possible, and I’m not sure I’ll be introducing this in the future. Maybe you can choose not to display video posts on home page, and show them in slider instead?

    Video in the slider shows the thumb, you can’t play it from the slider.

    I guess I’ll do with small thumbs for now.

    Please consider adding this as a feature, I’m sure it’ll be very useful to others as well.

    I would like to know about getting the pictures and sidebars as nice as the ones on the example pic. My layout is a bit too basic. Do I need a plugin?
