Help with upgrading….

    I’m interested in upgrading to the latest version (actually, I’ll hang out for the official 1.1, but still). I’m currently running .929, and am having trouble using the backup tool that has been suggested here on these boards. I get nothing but PHP errors when I try to run it…and I definitely don’t wanna just upgrade with no backup.
    Any suggestions? PHP I’m ok with…MySQL, not so much. Very limited understanding of databases, but if I need to mess with the PHP I could handle that. I’ve examined the error, and it looks like it’s calling for something that’s just not there (wp-config.php).

    There is no version .929. It looks from your site like you’re running version 0.71, which means you are a few versions behind and you don’t have wp-config.php. I would highly recommend upgrading.

    Agreed. I’d love to. However, all of the “how to’s” have passed me by already. ??
    Anyone out there with suggestions on how to upgrade from .71 to (hopefully) 1.1? What actually needs to be done? If I just copy the new over the old, is it smart enough to latch on to the appropriate database et al?
    Just looking for some direction…
