    I have it solved now, thanks. Needed to manually rewrite htaccess file.

    No, not resolved. I can create one page now. But any second page I create again yields a 404 error. I am using WordPress 1.5.2.

    I don’t know much about 1.5.2, but if updating the .htaccess worked before, I’d guess all of this is .htaccess issues, did you try updating it after you created the 2nd page?

    No. I think you have it. I probably will have to update htacess after I create each new page. Thanks.

    Oh. Space cadet for real here…. it seems to depend on your host setup, but yes, sometimes you either have to leave .htaccess writeable (666) – BAD BAD IDEA – or “open it for writing” every time you want to save a page, then close it again.

    Stupid. For this reason alone, as well as various others, you might simply want to upgrade to 2.0+.
