    Hi Guys,

I created 2 new widget area, and they load in the dashboard. No problem there, only the second widget area will not save the widget. It shows on the website though, so somehow it is registered somewhere.

This makes managing widget impossible as I cannot delete or adjust widgets this way.

All other widget areas are working, the save button does not work but eventually the widgets are saved.

Now I’ve tried turning of all plugins – no result
Switching between Enable accessibility mode – no result

I’m using a child theme here and switching to the main theme resolves the problem of saving (though I don’t have the new widget areas in the main theme). For updating purposes I would obviously like to keep these seperated. Yet it seems to be theme related, though I’m no expert.

On the website you can see the language switcher is loaded twice, once in the “Widget Header Area right” which is correct and again in the “Widget Header Area left” which is correct as well but not adjustable or managable in the dashboard.

    Found the solution myself.

ID and name of widget needed to be the same in order to register everything correctly.
