Footer not showing on certain pages.

Does that particular template have a call for the footer.php?

Yes. In fact, the footer shows up on firefox, but not on IE and this is only for the category archives. Weird.

Yeah, the validation thing doesnt come up with anything wrong with the header. Also, it comes out fine in Firefox, just not IE.

I though we were looking at the footer.
And when I look at the validation page (link above) it clearly shows you have problems with commented out code in the footer… (and the sidebar, btw)

i made a mistake referencing the header when i was talking about the footer, but the validation site is clearly messed up since it references the “design by” credit as a coding error.
also, the other pages have the same “errors” (because they all share the same footer code) and they turn out fine.

I just found the error, although it doesn’t really make sense to me why i can’t use <!– and –> to block out a huge chunk of code. Apparently, you can only block out so much at a time. Kinda sucks.

If you’re using the Default Kubrick theme, I have the header/footer shift fix for it. Also a few other fixes..that’s if you’re interested.. =)

Thanks, dude! That actually wasn’t the problem I was posting about BUT it was something that I noticed that I probably would have eventually bitched about on these boards sooner or later. Now I don’t have to. Thanks again.

Hahaha..no problem barrymendel… =) Yeah, that theme can be a BIG pain the arse..sigh..
