Woo-Commerce and Product Search

    I am using Woo-Commerce and I want just the products to show in the search. I have tried editing the file DavesWordPressLiveSearchResults.php by changing

    $wpQueryParams[‘post_type’] = ‘any’;

    to

    $wpQueryParams[‘post_type’] = ‘products’;

    But no results show.

    I am ok with the pages or post showing as well, as long as they return the correct results. For some reason on my site, if you type in “grinder” it pulls several items that kind of match, but there us an actual page titled “Gringers” and that is not even in the results.

  • I think you have my problem, have the word “grinder” in product description and this crash our search…
    At me ex: i have “ipod” in description of all models and this make my search to find other products first of ipod product.
    I hope to get helped here…
