Help! Admin keeps stalling and not loading

I’ve tried all the usual ones, added define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); to the config, de-activated all plugins, re-installed all the core files and it still keeps doing it.

Unless i install a cache plugin the site runs slow and occasionally sticks too.

It’ll work fine then just not load, i have to stop and re-fresh. It’s going to the client in a month and i need it to be ok. (obviously)

I’ve been driven mad. It was a local set up then uploaded to live. I’ve wondering if that’s the issue. The host doesn’t see any problems or slowness (asked twice). And they uploaded and installed the database.
