Page shows "[forecast]"

Followed installation instructions – used text widget to place [forecast] in sidebar. When I check blog I see the word “[forecast]” where the actual forecast should display. I have tried to install several different forecast plug-ins and could get none of them to work. All my other plug-ins seem ok. Any suggestions.
