(I tried to write a comment yesterday but it got published as a strange redirection so I’m trying again)

I was wondering how imaguard works with CDN. I’ve got an origin pull CDN set up with Amazon CloudFront and I’m using a subdomain for it. Therefor, all images URLs use this subdomain (typically cdn.mysite.com)

Would imaguard work with this setup out of the box or do I need to do something?

I’m not in a hurry. Like others, I’m waiting for an option to redirect images to the original post where they were first featured.

    Thanks a lot,

    P.

    Hi there!

If you run your WP with a normal file structure and the subdomain is set up as the blog domain in your WP settings, the plugin should work.

As for the redirect to blog, the latest version of Imaguard has a beta function for this that should work, although it does a double redirect to achieve it.

    Hope this answered your questions!

I don’t see how this would work. The subdomain is a CNAME to the CDN host. Only static assets are being served via CDN (subdomain). The .htaccess rules would need to sit on the CDN side.
